just downloaded a sbd show of paco at shn/flac and must say what a brilliant flamenco player this guy is.i first heard of him in a coffee shop in amsterdam while enjoying a bowl of blueberry haze crossed with skunk number 1,on an early sunny sunday morning overlooking the canals, just perfect.check this guy out if you don't know about him,he's been around for awhile, just thought i turn some people on.shn/flac has a great board seeding as i write.

Saw Paco with Al Di Meola and John McLaughlin back in the early 80's - a twisted classical guitar extravaganza. Very recommended listening!

Paco is the bomb. I had a chance to see him in Barcelona when I lived in Spain for a few months in the early 80's and have never been so moved by a show with just one man. I realize that Segovia is widely recognized as the master of traditional Flamenco music, and I agree. Paco, however has almost the same technical prowess and feel for the Andalucian heritage, but he has infused it with a modern feel, making it much more accessable to the average Joe. If you are looking for some commercial releases, check out Almoraima or his work with McLaughlin and DiMeola, absolutely jaw-dropping stuff.

Hey tigerbolt,

I have been travelling a bit and just got to a decent internet connection. From NY but living in Bali. (very slow connections for downloading music)

I tried to locate some of the seeds you mentioned but no luck...maybe I am not looking in the right places...

Anyways, did you ever get your seed fixed? I am currently in Japan (on my way back to Bali) for another 24 hrs and have a great internet connection and would still love to get that.

Can you help?

Thanks

dave
